Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer for a remote role focused on designing, building, and troubleshooting Workday integrations with enterprise platforms.

You will work with REST and SOAP APIs, ensure secure authentication, and implement robust, observable integrations in an enterprise setting. You will diagnose data flow issues, validate payloads, and maintain production-ready integrations with strong logging and error handling.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience.
• Strong experience with Workday REST APIs and Workday SOAP APIs (Web Services).
• Ability to manually construct and troubleshoot API requests/responses beyond low-code approaches.
• Strong XML skills, including namespaces and schema validation concepts.
• Working knowledge of integration security/authentication patterns and enterprise integration best practices.

In this role, you’ll design, build, and troubleshoot integrations between Workday and other enterprise platforms, focusing on API-driven connectivity and reliable automation. This is a hands‑on engineering position within an enterprise environment where quality, observability, and disciplined integration practices are essential.
