We are seeking a collaborative and culture-focused Sr. Manager of Human Resources to provide strategic performance management, talent development, culture, and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and innovative business partner, skilled coach, and associate champion with a passion for enhancing team engagement, contributing to the overall success of our company.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Employee Engagement and Culture:

  1. Culture ambassador, ensuring a world-class associate experience for all.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive organizational culture.
  3. Develop recognition programs and retention strategies to foster a positive culture and teamwork.
  4. Conduct associate focus groups to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement. Identify trends and opportunities to improve associate experience.
  5. Work with leadership to align company values with day-to-day practices.
  6. Provide on-site support, strengthen culture and build relationships with team members and leaders.

Talent Development:

  1. Key business partner optimizing performance through talent development.
  2. Deploy strategies to elevate the training and onboarding experience.
  3. Provide one-on-one coaching and mentorship to leaders and associates.
  4. Identify skill gaps and development needs and support leadership development initiatives.
  5. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  6. Partner with leadership to identify and develop high-potential associates.
  7. Develop succession plans and talent pipelines to ensure the organization's future leadership needs are met.
  8. Promote inclusion initiatives within the teams.

Performance Management and Employee Relations:

  1. Develop and implement performance management routines and tools for leaders and associates.
  2. Collaborate with team leaders to set performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the company's objectives.
  3. Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Train and support effective performance management strategies to enhance individual and team performance.
  5. Collaborate with regional HR partners and local management to ensure consistent HR practices across locations.
  6. Handle employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent resolution.
  7. Mediate conflicts and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  8. Act as a trusted advisor to employees, fostering a positive work environment.

Talent Insights, Reporting and Compliance:

  1. Sought after for advice and counsel on people and labor trends, grounding recommendation in data and insights.
  2. Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend improvements to HR practices.
  3. Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on performance management, coaching, talent development, associate engagement, and culture enhancement.
  3. Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Proven ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams.
  6. Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  7. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
  9. Experience in managing large, dispersed teams and willingness to travel as needed.
  10. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
