Job description

Moris Media is currently hiring for Senior Human Resource Manager in Wilmington. This job may require you to lead and oversee all aspects of the human resources department, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and objectives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive HR policies and procedures, encompassing areas such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development. As the Senior Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting employee engagement, and cultivating a high-performance culture. You will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all HR-related matters, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize workforce effectiveness. Your expertise will be essential in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring that Moris Media has the right people in the right roles to drive success. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and maintaining accurate HR records.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities of the Senior Human Resource Manager at Moris Media:

  • Lead and manage the HR department, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures covering recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and training & development.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
  • Design and implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on HR-related matters.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices.
  • Represent Moris Media at HR-related events and conferences.

Qualification Required for Senior Human Resource Manager at Moris Media:

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and payroll software.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and performance management software.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
