Job summary

Monroechamber in Germantown, WI seeks a Senior HR Generalist to support a 300-employee manufacturing site. This full-time, onsite role reports to the HR Director and partners with leaders to drive organizational performance and people strategies.

You will handle employee relations, performance management, recruitment for select roles, and compliance with employment laws while coaching supervisors. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in HR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing environment.
• Strong employee relations and performance management expertise.
• Experience with HRIS systems and employment law knowledge.
• Proven ability to coach and influence supervisors and managers.

We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our client’s Human Resources team in Germantown, WI. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on a growing organization. This is a full-time, fully onsite, direct hire role for an experienced HR professional who can serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, think strategically, and partner with the business to drive organizational success. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this role will play a critical part in supporting approximately 300 employees at their Germantown location.

Senior HR Generalist Responsibilities:

• Partner with leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support business objectives

• Lead performance management initiatives, including performance improvement plans and corrective action processes

Requirements for Senior HR Generalist:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with experience in the manufacturing industry
• Strong employee relations and performance management expertise
• Proven ability to coach and influence supervisors and managers
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Experience with HRIS systems
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
