Job summary

CFS in Wyoming, MI is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to partner with operations leadership and employees, covering employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, benefits, compliance and HR process improvement.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on HR professional with manufacturing experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, who can balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR support. A bachelor's degree and 5+ years HR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, benefits administration, and talent acquisition.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to build credibility and develop relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the organization.
