Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage in California seeks a Senior HR Generalist to partner with Aseptic, Maintenance, and Engineering teams in a high-volume manufacturing setting. The role leads employee relations, compliance, performance management, and talent initiatives while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.

You will support workforce planning, investigations, leaves, onboarding, HRIS data integrity, and reporting across a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
• 4+ years of progressive HR experience with an emphasis on employee relations.
• Experience in manufacturing or high-volume environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
• Experience with investigations, performance management, and leave administration.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to support workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations
• Lead investigations and resolve complex workplace issues
• Ensure compliance with employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage & hour)
• Manage leaves of absence and HR processes end-to-end
• Support hiring, onboarding, and talent decisions
• Analyze HR metrics to drive business improvements
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and reporting
• Champion employee engagement and culture initiatives
• Provide HR support across a 24/7 manufacturing operation
