Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Germantown, WI is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join our client’s HR team in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment. This onsite role supports ~300 employees and reports to the HR Director, partnering with leaders to drive organizational success.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong employee relations, performance management, and HRIS knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong employee relations and performance management expertise
• Proven ability to coach and influence supervisors and managers
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Experience with HRIS systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to provide strategic HR guidance and support business objectives
• Manage employee relations matters and conduct investigations as needed
• Coach and mentor supervisors and managers on employee performance, engagement, and workplace issues
• Lead performance management initiatives, including PIP and corrective actions
• Provide guidance on employment policies, procedures, and best practices
• Support talent acquisition efforts for select positions
• Collaborate with leadership to drive retention and workforce planning
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Contribute to HR projects and process improvements
