Job description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Sr. HR Generalist based at our Irvine headquarters, you will play a key role in supporting the Human Resources function by managing various HR processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, and serving as a strategic partner to employees and leadership. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can handle employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR reporting while contributing to company-wide HR initiatives.


THE DAY-TO-DAY
  • Oversee and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Serve as a resource for employees, addressing inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and employee relations issues.
  • Manage the full onboarding and offboarding processes to create a seamless employee experience.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including open enrollment and resolving benefits-related concerns.
  • Generate, analyze, and maintain HR reports (e.g., turnover, headcount, compliance, and performance data) to support decision-making.
  • Support HR projects related to performance management, training and development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with managers and leadership to address employee concerns, foster a positive workplace culture, and promote HR best practices.
GREAT TO HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

$110,000 - $120,000 a year
Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000
In accordance with California law, the range provided is Viant’s reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. Final title and compensation for the position will be based on several factors including work experience and education.
