Job description

Sr. HR Business Partner (Finance)

Department: Human Resources

Salary: $88,400 - $101,700

Description:

The Sr. HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated business units. The Sr. HRBP acts as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues, serving as an employee champion and change agent. This role involves assessing and anticipating HR needs, proactively communicating with HR and business management, and developing integrated solutions. The Sr. HRBP partners across HR functions to deliver value-added services that support the organization’s objectives.

  1. Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units.
  2. Provides HR guidance to line management through consultation.
  3. Analyzes trends and metrics with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  4. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues.
  5. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements to manage employees effectively, reduce legal risks, and ensure compliance.
  6. Collaborates with the legal department as needed and provides performance management guidance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  7. Works with management and employees to improve relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  8. Participates in strategic planning with client groups, working with HR teams such as Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition to meet organizational goals.
  9. Offers guidance on restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  10. Identifies training needs and executive coaching opportunities.
  11. Monitors and evaluates training program effectiveness.
  12. Ensures training objectives are achieved through follow-up.
  13. Proactively fosters relationships between HR and the community through meetings and cross-functional projects.
  14. Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of a professional discipline, typically obtained through a 4-year degree or equivalent specialized training directly related to the role. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is required.
