Minimum qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related discipline from a four-year College/University; work experience in A/E/C that matches the requirements of the position in lieu of degree

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree
• 8+ years professional graphic design experience; A/E/C and/or Sales experience
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and experience with additional creative, visual, interactive, and multimedia tools
• Strong knowledge of design principles, layout, typography, graphics, and images for effective visual communication
• Prior experience in Architectural/Engineering & Construction and/or Proposal and Sales
• Knowledge of ArcGIS plug-in for Illustrator, SketchUp, Streetmix, and Interactive PDFs
• Experience in traditional illustration and digital design
• Familiarity with video editing, After Effects, or other Adobe programs

Additional details

This is a hybrid role, working from a local Jacobs office approximately 2 days per week. Travel is less than 10% per year. The position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
