Job summary

A2e-Technologies is seeking a Sr. FPGA Design Engineer in Redmond for a long-term contract with potential permanency. The role requires 10+ years in FPGA and modem design, with hands-on experience in Ultrascale+ and Versal FPGAs, VHDL and SystemVerilog, and high-speed Serdes. Strong scripting and hardware-interface skills are essential.

Start date is ASAP. This position is a contract to possible permanent role, based in Redmond with long-term engagement expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years FPGA/Modem Design experience.
• Experience with Ultrascale+ and Versal FPGAs.
• Proficiency in VHDL and SystemVerilog.
• Design and Simulation experience.
• Experience with high-speed SerDes.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Perl, Bash, Tcl).
• Knowledge of Ethernet, Interlocken, PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART interfaces.

• Solid scripting (python, pearl, bash, tcl, …)

Solid Communication interfaces such as: Ethernet, Interlocken, PCIe, SPI, I2C, UART, etc

Nice to Have:

• Active Government Clearance
• Software Defined Radio/Modem Design background
• Some Petalinux Background
• Background in RF design
• Encryption experience
