Job summary

Experis/Manpower Group is seeking a Sr Financial Analyst to support Global Supply Chain finance in Pleasanton, CA. This 3-month onsite contractor role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, inventory analysis, and month-end close.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years FP&A experience in manufacturing or supply chain, strong Excel, SAP, Hyperion, and Power BI skills, and excellent communication. Possibility to extend based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain.
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost center management.
• Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for Global Supply Chain functions.
• Manage and analyze inventory-related financials, including inventory reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with cost center owners to support expense management, forecasting, and budget tracking.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for business and finance leadership.
• Support quarterly LBE submissions and annual planning cycles.
• Assist with capital spending tracking and purchase requisition reviews.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support decisions.
• Utilize SAP, Hyperion, and Power BI for reporting and analysis.

Description

Seeking a Finance Contractor to support the Global Supply Chain organization. This role will partner closely with operations leaders to provide financial planning, cost center management, inventory analysis, reporting, forecasting, and month-end close support. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced working in complex manufacturing and supply chain environments. Possibility to extend for right candidate based on performance/attendance but no guarantee.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting for Global Supply Chain functions.
• Manage and analyze inventory-related financials, including inventory reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Utilize financial systems and tools, including SAP, Hyperion, and Power BI, to drive reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience, preferably supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain organizations.
• Experience with inventory accounting and cost center management.
• Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion/Essbase, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
