Job description

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior Financial Analyst to support plant operations and partner closely with site leadership. This role will play a key part in financial reporting, cost analysis, forecasting, and driving operational performance across multiple manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, executive summaries, and operational performance reviews
• Analyze Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow performance, identifying key drivers and trends
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reporting

Cost Accounting & PPV Analysis

• Lead Purchase Price Variance (PPV) tracking and analysis
• Investigate cost drivers and support recovery opportunities where applicable
• Partner with Procurement, Operations, and Commercial teams to analyze supplier cost increases and pricing impacts
• Monitor and analyze material, labor, and overhead variances, providing actionable recommendations to improve profitability

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning

• Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial planning
• Monitor performance against plan and recommend corrective actions
• Build financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes and reporting efficiency
• Enhance data consistency, reporting automation, and financial analytics capabilities
• Partner cross-functionally to improve the integration of operational and financial data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 3–7+ years of experience in FP&A, Cost Accounting, or Financial Analysis
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and variance analysis
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or Dynamics
• Experience with OneStream, Adaptive, Hyperion, or similar reporting tools is a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate financial insights to operational and executive leadership
• Comfortable spending time on the manufacturing floor to understand processes and cost drivers

Compensation
