Sr Field Service Supervisor (Finance)



Honeywell seeks a Senior Field Service Supervisor who can effectively combine strategic thinking with execution. This leader will excel at building highly productive teams, possess motivating leadership skills, and drive sales and profitable growth within the service business. The successful candidate will report to the Area Service Business Leader. The FSS is responsible for customer relationship management, developing additional sales opportunities, and managing personnel including technical resource managers, service technicians, and fitters. Key metrics for this role include Orders, Revenue, Profit, Service Agreement Contracts, and Customer Satisfaction. The FSS must thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accountability for overall financial P&L results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. 50% in the field, traveling throughout the surrounding area and possibly into bordering states; 50% in the office in Richardson, TX
  2. Management and Leadership - Lead a team of direct reports, organizing and conducting regular meetings focused on performance metrics, customer satisfaction, profitability, and process compliance.
  3. Customer Satisfaction - Maintain high customer satisfaction levels, resolve issues proactively, and identify system upgrade opportunities, service needs, and sales leads both individually and with the team.
  4. Finance - Own the service financial performance of the team, monitor financial metrics regularly, and review spending versus actuals for contracts.
  5. Cost Control & Productivity - Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials, maintain inventory levels, and support the implementation of productivity-enhancing processes.
  6. Contract Renewal - Maximize contract escalations and renewals, and control cancellations.
  7. Estimate and Risk Reviews - Participate in estimate reviews to ensure accuracy and technical feasibility prior to quoting jobs or contracts.
  8. Resource Planning - Ensure proper resourcing for service contracts, additional work, and small projects; develop relationships with subcontractors to ensure resource availability.
  9. Performance Management - Conduct performance appraisals, coaching, and career development, with HR support.
  10. Team Building - Foster collaboration, develop effective teams, and build relationships with other Field Service Supervisors.
  11. Change Management - Lead change initiatives and implement approved strategies.
  12. Health, Safety, and Compliance - Maintain a safe work environment through communication, training, and equipment maintenance.

As a Sr Field Service Supervisor at Honeywell, you will oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of Honeywell products, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will report directly to the [Title] and work out of our [City, State] location on a [Hybrid, On-site, Remote] schedule.

You Must Have

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing a team in a service-oriented industry
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to manage a substantial number of customer accounts
  • Independent and self-motivated
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Strong time management skills
