Scope

As a Bodily Injury Claims Supervisor, you will oversee Bodily Injury/Underinsured Motorist claims operations, lead and develop BI/UM specialists, and analyze loss data to improve claim strategies. This role ensures fair and efficient handling of bodily injury claims with excellent customer service. It offers a remote work arrangement within Texas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the pre-suit claims process, ensuring proper documentation, investigation, and communication.
• Review complex or high-value bodily injury claims for liability, coverage, and damages.
• Collaborate with adjusters to ensure proper investigation and negotiation techniques.
• Analyze claims data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Generate reports for management on key performance indicators.
• Manage legal aspects of claims, including suits and coverage denials.
• Supervise and develop team members, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of handling or supervising Texas Bodily Injury Claims.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Active Adjusters License required.
• CPCU or AIC certification is a plus.

• Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
• Extensive claims operations knowledge, especially in BI/UM.
