Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in San José, CA, seeks a seasoned technical specialist to be the primary contact for design-in activities with key accounts.

You will drive design wins, provide deep technical support for multiphase, high-current DC-DC products, and review customer schematics and layouts to ensure robust solutions. You will contribute to US revenue growth through hands-on lab work, direct customer engagement, and strategic insight into product positioning.

Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years power management and analog systems experience.
• Hands-on experience with point-of-load DC-DC power conversion.
• Experience with multiphase, Intel and/or AMD VR requirements is preferred.
• Ability to interface directly with customers to solve problems.
• Strong analytical, independent work style and good communication in English.

Job Summary

This person will join the growing MPS San Jose team, serving as the technical support contact for key MPS accounts in the San Jose area.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with key customers and secure design wins incorporating MPS products and services.
• Provide deep technical support to customers to meet or improve upon customer requirements with MPS products, specifically multiphase, high current DC/DC.
• Provide thorough customer design support including schematic and PCB layout review.
• Contribute to MPS US revenue growth through direct and indirect technical activities.
• Develop a solid technical understanding of our products and relevant solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow MPS business.
• Gather potential market moves and competitors’ activities for MPS product strategy.
• Define and share current and emerging customer technical needs to improve tactical and strategic product positioning.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years power management and analog systems experience.
• Hands‑on experience with point‑of‑load DC‑DC power conversion.
• Experience with multiphase, Intel and/or AMD VR requirements and specifications preferred.
• Ability to interface directly with customers and solve customer problems.
• Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self‑motivated and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels written and oral.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.
• Willing to drive to local customers and spend time in lab as needed.

Location & Compensation

Location: San José, CA. Base salary range $130,000 – $180,000. Pay may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job‑related reasons.
