Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a passionate Senior Design Engineer to design analog and mixed-signal ICs for power management, using BiCMOS/DMOS processes. Location-based on-site roles in San Jose, CA and Kirkland, WA.

You will work with Sr. Designer on circuit synthesis from transistor level to system level, support ATE design-for-test, and assist applications engineering for customers. A PhD or MSEE with 2+ years in semiconductor analog/power IC design is required, with strong

• Understand analog and mixed signal circuits including amplifiers, comparators, oscillator, references, LDO, POR, charge pumps, HV level shifts, drivers, current sensors.
• Fundamentals of circuit design and IC qualification requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Products may include switching regulators, hot-swap eFuse, haft-bridge driver and power management ICs for fast growing markets such as networking, server, telecom, notebook/server core voltage, graphic card core regulator, point-of-load (PoL) and power modules.**Essential Functions*** Works with Sr. Designer on circuit synthesis from the transistor/resistor level up to the system level, simulation, layout supervision.* Assists ATE development with Design-For-Test methods.* Assists AE for evaluation and customer support.**Required skills*** Understand analog and mixed signal circuits including amplifiers, comparators, oscillator, references, LDO, POR, charge bumps, HV level shifts, drivers, current sensor etc.* Understand analog layout techniques.* Understand ESD, latch-up, and reliability.* Understand general IC qualification requirements.**Qualifications*** A PhD graduate with relevant expertise in the field or MSEE degree with a minimum of two years of experience in Semiconductor and/or Analog/Power Integrated Circuit Design experience.* Solid understanding of circuit fundamental.* Good verbal and written skills.**Locations*** San Jose, CA* Kirkland, WAMPS offers a comprehensive benefits package.
