Job summary

The Davis Companies is seeking a field service specialist to install, service and repair complex equipment at client sites. You will help customers develop applications for each platform and fluid delivery system, with a strong focus on dispensing and conformal coating technology.

Travel up to 50% is required. You will provide on-site and remote support, create spare parts lists, generate service quotes, log cases in CRM, and ensure customers achieve a successful ownership experience.

This includes helping customers develop applications for each platform and fluid delivery system. Specifically in need of a strong background supporting equipment for dispensing and conformal coating, this is a must-have for this role.

Provide specialist level support for external customers:

• Flexible and able to travel 50%.
• warranty services, and customized training to customers.
• Document customized lists of spare parts for each installation.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support. Confidently troubleshoot any problem and stay with the issue to resolution.
• Provide customers with quotes for these services.
• Enter cases in the CRM system and actively manage the case and solution workload.
• Prepare for field visits to understand every option and feature of an order. Be prepared to make customers successful with the product in every aspect of their ownership experience.
• Recover from field visits by closing any open issues.
• Keep current with the latest application practices, challenges, and best known methods.
• Support commercial success in the pre-sale environment by helping to define technical solutions and ensuring delivered solutions meet customer expectations.
