Sunrise Senior Living in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Executive Director to lead all aspects of community operations. This executive role drives financial performance, resident well-being, and regulatory compliance while building high-performing teams and delivering service aligned with Sunrise’s mission.

You will oversee sales, marketing to maximize occupancy, manage budgets, risk management, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Provide full operational oversight including financial management, staffing, quality and compliance.
• Lead sales and marketing strategy to maximize occupancy, revenue and market position.
• Assess community needs quickly and implement performance improvement plans.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources and regional partners.
• Coach and develop Directors of Sales and leadership teams to achieve KPIs.
