A growing venture fund seeks a Senior Executive Assistant to support General Partners at their San Francisco location. This role involves calendar management, coordinating events, and interacting with founders. Ideal candidates are experienced, self-starters who thrive in fast-paced startup environments.

RATE RANGE: $180,000 - $215,000
POSITION SUMMARY :
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to work directly with one or two of our General Partners. You’ll be responsible for helping manage their calendar, organizing events, and using internal software to manage communications with founders and portfolio companies.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who’s comfortable working independently based out of our clients San Francisco headquarters. This is an amazing opportunity if you’re curious about startups and enjoy learning about how they get started, and would find it interesting to meet the kinds of people who start them.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Administrative tasks, including scheduling and calendar management. You’ll help schedule internal and external meetings, preventing conflicts and helping our General Partner use his time efficiently.
Plan, execute, and attend events. You’ll partner with your General Partners(s) on curating special experiences for our founders. You'll be responsible for helping with the logistics of events organized at the office and other locations, ranging from 10 people to 200 people. You must be available to work some evenings and occasionally on weekends. That said, hours are flexible to accommodate time spent outside of standard office hours.
Coordinating travel, and generally able to process ad hoc tasks expeditiously and proactively, including some personal to-dos.
Work cross-functionally with other team members as needed.
Writing projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS :
You have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or working in an operations/support position.
Comfortable supporting high-level executives and working with other executives with different leadership styles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Evidence of strong writing ability will be valued especially highly.
Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving skills, and multitasking abilities.
Friendly demeanor.
Bonus points: You are familiar with startups.
