Sr Engineering Technician (Finance)

As an Engineering Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in supporting factory test equipment for our cutting-edge products. You will work closely with engineers and other technical professionals to ensure the successful execution of projects and the delivery of high-quality test equipment solutions. Your expertise and technical skills will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and will work out of our Minneapolis, MN location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with engineers and technical professionals to facilitate engineering projects
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Conduct tests and experiments and organize test data to validate engineering designs
  • Assist in the development and improvement of engineering processes and procedures
  • Perform build and check-out activities for Factory Test Equipment
  • Coordinate and perform sub-assembly build, validation, and materials management

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position is $59,200 - $74,400. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineering technician or in a similar role
  • Technical skills and knowledge in engineering ethics and practices
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and tools
  • Capability of using measuring and diagnostic tools (scopes, meters, power supplies, etc.)
  • Organizational and time management skills
