Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering program management in cloud infrastructure
• Strong background in software delivery and services infrastructure engineering
• Proficient in software development processes (SDLC) and various project management methodologies
• Experience with risk analysis and developing, prioritizing and leading roadmaps
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or deep relevant industry experience

Key Responsibilities

You’ll partner with a diverse set of teams across Apple to develop the manage the platform that powers many workloads across Apple. Systems within this scope are complex.This role requires you to build trust with engineering partners and persistently remove ambiguity by seeking to reduce complexity.You will not only be expected to be able to readily understand complicated and subtle interdependencies, but also to evaluate new requests and new information in light of these systems.Being able to think on your feet is important, as is the ability to thoughtfully and efficiently debate the validity of a given approach to any aspect of a project under your control.Needless to say, strong social and interpersonal skills are required for this role.Your work will be incredibly important to maintain and improve Apple’s most critical cloud services.

Minimum Qualifications

12+ years of engineering program managers in the cloud infrastructure domain, specifically observability and cloud storage focus areas.Strong background in software delivery, and services infrastructure engineeringProficient in software development processes (SDLC), and comfortable with various project management methodologiesExperience with risk analysis as well as developing, prioritizing and leading the roadmapBachelors Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or deep relevant industry experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior engineering, infrastructure, or software development program management experience for Site Reliability Engineering / DevOps strongly preferred.Excellent written & verbal communication skills, along with polished presentation skillsSelf-motivated and proactive with proven creative & critical thinking capabilitiesExpertise in coordination & participation in requirements gathering and design brainstorming sessionsExperience leading multiple complex projects simultaneouslyA history of leadership, decision making, negotiation skills, and ability to influence partners without direct authorityProven record in defining processes, developing metrics and executing on them while driving program maturity and process optimization
