Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to drive programs focused on building Apple’s Cloud Observability and Storage Platforms. The role partners with engineers to ensure scalable, highly available cloud services used by billions of users worldwide.

Candidates should have extensive experience in software delivery, risk analysis, and leading roadmaps in cloud infrastructure. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential to influence without authority.

Qualifications

12+ years of engineering program management in the cloud infrastructure domain, specifically observability and cloud storage focus areas.
Strong background in software delivery, and services infrastructure engineering
Proficient in software development processes (SDLC), and comfortable with various project management methodologies
Experience with risk analysis as well as developing, prioritizing and leading the roadmap

Responsibilities

Partner with a diverse set of teams across Apple to develop and manage the platform that powers workloads across Apple.
Build trust with engineering partners and remove ambiguity by reducing complexity.
Understand complex interdependencies and evaluate new requests accordingly.
Think on your feet and debate the validity of approaches professionally.
Demonstrate strong social and interpersonal skills.
Maintain and improve Apple’s most critical cloud services.
