As the Payments Platform lead, you will drive architecture and delivery for checkout, subscriptions, and payment orchestration, partnering with Product, Design, Finance,

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of backend engineers building HighLevel's Payments Platform.
• Own execution of the Payments roadmap, including sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery reviews.
• Establish engineering standards for API design, testing, and operational readiness.
• Champion SLO ownership, incident management, and disaster recovery practices.
• Communicate engineering tradeoffs and delivery updates to executive stakeholders.
• Align multiple teams around shared architectural decisions and business objectives.

Job description

• Lead a team of backend engineers building HighLevel's Payments Platform, covering checkout, subscriptions, and payment orchestration.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Finance, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable payment experiences.

• Team Leadership: Drive hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development for the team.
• Platform Delivery: Own execution of the Payments roadmap, including sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery reviews.
