The Sr Software Engineer works with a team of other software engineers, network and systems engineers to craft, implement, and deploy software that meets customer requirements, scales easily, removes the limitations of traditional networking solutions, and supports deployment in highly available environments. The Sr Software Engineer actively participates in architecture and design of various software components focused on applications leveraging virtualization, microservices, SDN, NFV, and Big Data technologies.

In this role, you will deliver initiatives for T-Mobile for Business (TfB) leveraging the Salesforce CRM application, helping to integrate it with other applications and develop improvements to deliver best-in-class solutions to our B2B customers.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support engineering projects by developing Salesforce software solutions, conducting tests and inspections, and preparing reports and calculations. Supervise associate engineers occasionally.
2. Understand system protocols, operations, and data flows. Keep up-to-date with current technology benefits. Independently develop full software stacks and understand the building blocks, interactions, dependencies, and tools required for software and automation work.
3. Present project improvement scenarios to management.
4. Monitor and influence relevant industry technologies and standards.
5. Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Continuously learn, create content, and teach others in specific subject areas.
7. Mentor and develop engineers across teams on technology decisions.
8. Develop, design, and implement new ideas utilizing new frameworks to improve systems, processes, or services.
9. Conduct independent research and problem-solving for non-routine tasks.

Knowledge/Skills:

• 5-7 years of experience in Salesforce software engineering.
• Expertise in Apex, JavaScript, and Lightning Web Components.
• Experience with Salesforce Industry CPQ solutions, Aura Bundles, and LWC.
• Knowledge of Heroku and custom application development.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, third-party integrations, and cloud services.
• Performance optimization and debugging skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent user experiences.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Salesforce Platform Developer or Salesforce Cloud Development certifications preferred.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation:

Base pay range: $113,600 - $205,000. Corporate bonus target: 15%. Actual pay varies based on location, qualifications, and experience.
