Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Facility Safety Engineer for a new manufacturing site in North Phoenix. You will develop and oversee health and safety programs to ensure OSHA, NFPA and industry standards compliance, leading the program from construction through commissioning and into full operation.

The role is on-site full-time with construction trailers before the office opens in ~12 months. Compensation ranges $130k-$150k plus bonuses, with a generous benefits package and upward mobility

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental or industrial engineering.
• At least 3 years in safety/EHS in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing or construction.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• CSP or ASP certification.
• Experience with MS Office and EHS software.
• Experience with ISO 45001 implementation and audits.

Job Description

An Insight Global customer is seeking an Sr. Facility Safety Engineer for a new manufacturing facility in North Phoenix. This person will be reporting into the EHS Manager and responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the health and safety programs (EHS) to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA and other relevant laws, regulations and semiconductor industry standards. This role is one of the first key roles being hired at this new facility so there is immense opportunity for upward mobility in the future. We're looking for a well-rounded safety professional who can lead the safety program from construction through commissioning and into full time facility operation.

This role will operate full-time on-site at the new facility, including working out of construction trailers until the office is open in about 12 months. This is a full-time role and we can offer a salary between $130k and $150k plus bonuses and a generous benefits package. Exact compensation may vary based on education and experience.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in safety engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering or related.
• At least 3 years of safety engineering or EHS compliance experience in a semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing/construction environment - this includes OSHA compliance and NFPA codes.
• OSHA 30 certification
• CSP or ASP certification
• Experience with MS Office and EHS software
• Experience with ISO 45001 implementation and audits
