Job Title: Senior Employee Relations Specialist

Join the Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) as a Senior Employee Relations Specialist and contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our mission to support children and families in Oregon.

Position Overview:

  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace compliance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise management and staff on employment laws and policies.
  • Investigate complaints and grievances fairly and thoroughly.
  • Guide managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure consistent policy application and compliance with Head Start standards.
  • Support legal and policy development efforts.
  • Manage exit interviews and analyze trends for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of employment laws such as FMLA, ADA, EEO.
  • Conflict resolution, mediation, investigation skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and data analysis.
