Job Summary

The Sr. ER Consultant is responsible for:

  • Mitigating risk for the organization and guiding people leaders through complex employee issues.
  • Balancing risk mitigation with positive employee experience by addressing concerns and reaching fair solutions.
  • Handling investigations, corrective actions, coaching, leaves of absence, accommodations, reductions in force, EEOC responses, and policy interpretation.

Core competencies include concise and compassionate communication, strong listening, conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation skills.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensure policy adherence, and align with Molina's mission, vision, and values.
  • Prepare documentation with discoverability in mind.
  • Assess risk and resolve conflicts through mediation.
  • Track case details to identify trends and address recurring risks.
  • Promote a positive work environment and equitable solutions.
  • Conduct investigations into misconduct and incivility.
  • Utilize Employee Engagement Survey results to improve employee experience.
  • Assist management with employee issues, including corrective actions, coaching, leaves, and policy adherence.
  • Prepare management for difficult conversations with appropriate talking points.
  • Provide strategic insights into employee relations issues and conduct trend analysis.
  • Offer prompt consultative services to create capacity for leaders.
  • Mentor and lead Employee Relations Consultants, providing expertise and guidance.
  • Lead complex employee relations projects and collaborate with HRBP's, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Experience: 5-7 years in Human Resources, counseling, social work, law, or a comparable field
Preferred Education: Master's Degree or J.D.

Pay Range: $77,969 - $155,508 / ANNUAL
