Job Summary

The Sr. ER Consultant is responsible for:

  • Mitigating risk for the organization and guiding people leaders through complex employee issues;
  • Balancing risk mitigation with positive employee experience;
  • Handling investigations, corrective actions, coaching, leaves of absence, accommodations, reductions in force, EEOC responses, and policy interpretation;
  • Demonstrating core competencies such as concise and compassionate communication, active listening, conflict resolution, negotiation, and mediation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Manage employee relations issues, ensuring policy adherence and alignment with Molina's mission, vision, and values;
  • Prepare documentation with discoverability in mind;
  • Assess risk and resolve conflicts through mediation;
  • Track case details to identify trends and address recurring risks;
  • Promote a positive work environment and employee experience;
  • Conduct investigations into misconduct and incivility;
  • Use Employee Engagement Survey results to improve employee experience;
  • Assist management with employee issues, including corrective actions, coaching, leaves, and accommodations;
  • Prepare for difficult employee conversations with talking points;
  • Provide strategic insights into employee relations issues, conduct trend analysis, and develop training;
  • Offer prompt and consistent consultative services to empower people leaders;
  • Mentor and lead Employee Relations Consultants;
  • Lead complex employee relations projects and collaborate with HR, Legal, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
Job Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience: 5-7 years in Human Resources, counseling, social work, law, or a comparable field

Preferred Education: Master's Degree or J.D.

Pay Range: $77,969 - $155,508 / ANNUAL
