In this position...

The Sr. Electrical Systems Integration Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and integration of Low Voltage systems, ensuring reliable performance. You will lead system-level design activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product design, vehicle behaviors, prototype bring-up, and validation. You will oversee bring-up and validation activities for vehicle builds and be responsible for the overall functionality and performance of Low Voltage systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will conceptualize, design, engineer, develop, and support the launch of next-generation vehicle platform architectures for electric vehicles.

Responsibilities
  • Develop hardware and system requirements for subsystems and components, ensuring traceability from features to hardware specifications.
  • Contribute to electrical architecture development and validation, perform trade studies, and optimize for cost, mass, performance, and serviceability.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive electrical system designs that satisfy architecture requirements.
  • Review and approve test plans and results to ensure interface compatibility and requirement compliance.
  • Own electrical subsystem interfaces, collaborating with hardware and EDS teams for seamless integration.
  • Utilize MBSE to manage requirements for low voltage hardware systems from concept through development.
  • Lead prototype system integration, including bring-up, debugging, and testing of prototypes, labcars, and vehicles.
Qualifications

Required:

  • B.S in Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience with low voltage systems design, development, and integration
  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as MATLAB-Simulink, PSIM, LT-Spice
  • Experience in low voltage systems development, vehicle architecture, functional safety, and component integration
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and automotive applications
  • Proven debugging and diagnostic skills across electrical, mechanical, and software domains
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, high-performing team
  • Systems approach to design and continuous improvement mindset

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
  • 10+ years of experience with advanced analytical tools for component and system simulations
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment
  • Experience with FMEA and HARA analyses
