Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to lead multi-discipline electrical projects in urban settings. The role requires P.E. licensure, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and 8+ years of experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

You will design lighting, power, communications, and fire alarm systems while coordinating with clients and consultants. The position offers a flexible schedule with remote and hybrid options, and you will mentor staff engineers on

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure is required.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• AutoCAD & Revit experience.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Expertise in building electrical design including lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects through all phases of the process.
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for building electrical systems.
• Coordinate project electrical requirements with clients and consultants both in-house and external.
• Perform code reviews.
• Oversee projects and technicians.
• Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects.
• Work independently as well as in a multi-discipline team to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
