Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to join a respected multi-disciplinary engineering firm. The role collaborates with staff engineers on challenging projects, primarily in urban settings. You will lead electrical design efforts, perform calculations, coordinate with clients and consultants, review codes, and manage project budgets.

A P.E. license and a BS in electrical engineering are required, with 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure required; BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience with building electrical design including lighting and power distribution.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects through all phases.
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for buildings.

Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager

A reputable and established multi-disciplinary Engineering firm is looking for a highly motivated sr. engineer to join their team to work closely with staff engineers on challenging and exciting projects largely in urban areas.

Requirements

• P.E. licensure required
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Expertise in all aspects of building electrical design such as lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm

What You Will Do

• Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases of process
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for the electrical designs aspects of buildings
• Coordinating project electrical requirements with each client as well as consultants both in-houst and outside
• Perform code reviews
• Oversee projects and technicians
• Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects
• Work independently as well as in a multi-discipline team working closely to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports
