Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager for challenging urban projects in the Dallas area. You will lead electrical design efforts, coordinate with staff engineers, and manage projects from concept through delivery.

The role requires a P.E. license, a BS in Electrical Engineering, AutoCAD and Revit experience, and 8+ years of building electrical design experience, including lighting, power, communications and fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure required.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• AutoCAD and Revit experience.
• 8+ years of experience.
• Expertise in building electrical design (lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm).

Responsibilities

• Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases of process.
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for the electrical designs aspects of buildings.
• Coordinating project electrical requirements with each client as well as consultants both in-houst and outside.
• Perform code reviews.
• Oversee projects and technicians.
• Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects.
• Work independently as well as in a multi-discipline team working closely to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
