Job summary

Curtiss-Wright EMD Cheswick is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and analyze insulation for pumps, motors, and generators. You will lead studies on rotating equipment insulation and coordinate tests and data-driven solutions.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of related experience, and ability to obtain DoD security clearances. Knowledge of IEEE specs and related standards is preferred. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
• EE Masters preferred.
• Must be able to obtain DoD security clearances.
• 7+ years’ experience in Electrical Engineering with rotating equipment and insulation systems.
• Experience with IEEE specs and military specifications related to insulation materials.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze electro-mechanical components and systems focusing on electrical insulation.
• Lead studies and testing on rotating machine designs with insulation focus.
• Evaluate insulation system designs and conduct tests (pd, voltage endurance, thermal endurance).
• Create models, drawings, and documentation; present technical insulation data.
