Raytheon is seeking a motivated 1st shift Senior Level Engineer to support Maintenance, Repair, and Engineering within the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department in Andover, MA. The role involves supporting production maintenance and the dimensional metrology laboratory, requiring effective multitasking and coordination across support areas.

Responsibilities

• Coach and influence peers and technicians on troubleshooting best practices.
• Design improvements of systems and test equipment to enhance performance and production uptime.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
• 2+ years reading schematic drawings for complex test equipment.
• 2+ years experience with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with RF, Digital, or High Power electronics and physical/mechanical interfacing.
• Experience developing preventative maintenance and calibration procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments; knowledge of Six Sigma and LEAN 6S principles.
