Job summary

Aecon is seeking a Safety Advisor to support health, safety and environmental programs in Port Huron, Michigan. You will partner with project teams, lead safety trainings, conduct audits, investigations and ensure regulatory compliance on T&D construction projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience coordinating health and safety on electrical transmission projects.
• Solid understanding of OSHA requirements and safety program implementation.
• Experience delivering EHS training and leading safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage safety programs across T&D construction sites.
• Lead safety trainings, orientation, and compliance activities.
• Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and root-cause investigations.
• Develop and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Support workers’ compensation processes and return-to-work programs.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on EHS best practices.
