Job summary

Almac Group in Souderton, PA is seeking a Production Technician to support packaging operations, ensuring product quality for patient safety. You will work in primary and secondary packaging areas as needed, following cGMP and Almac SOPs.

Responsibilities include setting up, operating, shutting down and cleaning production equipment, troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance, and completing batch documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Mechanical or Electrical degree or training is preferred.
• At least 1 year of machine or mechanical experience required.
• Pharmaceutical or GMP environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, shut down and clean production equipment per Almac SOPs in a cGMP environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance per schedules.
• Package, label and assemble materials in ambient areas per batch documents and SOPs.
• Complete all required documentation per SOPs with accurate information.

Job description

Almac Group is currently seeking a Production Technician at our Souderton, Pa facility. The Production Technician will perform assigned functions at Almac Clinical Services relevant to the packaging area ensuring that quality is maintained in products for the safety, well-being, and protection of the patient. The Production Technician will also be required to perform assigned functions within Secondary Packaging Rooms (no exposed product), and in Primary Packaging Rooms (exposed product) when required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the set-up, operation, shut down, and cleaning of all Production related equipment utilizing the highest standards within a cGMP environment, following Almac SOPs.
• Troubleshoot production equipment and perform preventative maintenance per Almac SOPs and Planned Maintenance schedules.
• Package / Label / Assemble material in ambient conditioned areas, as detailed in the batch document while in accordance to ALMAC Clinical Services SOP's and cGMP's.
• Complete all required associated documentation per Almac SOPs ensuring accurate information is recorded.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred Education: Mechanical/Electrical Degree or training Preferred
• Required Experience: 1+ years Machine/Mechanical or related experience
• Preferred Experience: Experience in pharmaceutical or similar GMP environment
