Job summary

Bacardi's Angel's Envy Brand Home in Louisville seeks a dynamic leader to guide the Distillery Guardians and Retail Associates. You will execute daily show schedules, brief the team each morning, and ensure top-tier presentation, service, and hospitality in Brand Store and experiences.

You will oversee scheduling, paperwork, and compliance with health and safety standards, while training staff and auditing tours to align with the Angel's Envy story and production details.

Job description

Lead a team of Distillery Guardians and Retail Associates, including creating and executing a daily run-of-show schedule and leading morning briefings to communicate daily targets and relevant information.

Ensure standards of presentation, service, and hospitality in the Brand Store and on experiences are consistently high, including retail merchandising spaces.

Learn and execute the team's schedule via the scheduling software.

Ensure all daily paperwork or files are filled out and completed at the end of the business day and ready for filing and review.

Understand supply inventory counts for both BH and warehouse, and communicate with the Brand Home Tour Experience Supervisor on any order needs.

Support the Brand Home Tour Experience Supervisor with training and auditing all variations of Distillery Guardian tours and presentations, ensuring professional, engaging, and educational delivery in alignment with communicating the Angel's Envy story and production details.

Provide support to the BH Single Barrel Coordinator with day-to-day operations of Bottle Your Own Experiences.

Ensure the Angel's Envy Brand Home operates within internal Bacardi guidelines as well as Health and Safety standards, ensuring social responsibility is a priority and all measures are followed, conducting audits and ensuring compliance.

Communicate effectively with other members of the team to ensure a handover of relevant information, most importantly to the Brand Home Tour Experience Supervisor and other Lead Distillery Guardians.

Act as a Keyholder as needed to open and close the Brand Home operation.

Required Certifications

• Candidate MUST be S.T.A.R. certified or willing to become certified.
• Candidate MUST be certified or willing to become a certified Bourbon Steward through Stave and Thief.

Safety and Training

• Prioritize and coordinate any safety training required of the Brand Home team, such as HSI, Safe Serving, and any other training made mandatory by the Guest Experience Manager.
• Collaborate with other Lead Distillery Guardians and all Managers in the Brand Home Department.

• Able to manage a team of individuals in a fast-paced environment, leading a team to consistently provide a premium customer experience and hit KPIs.
• Food and beverage, events, and/or retail experience are desired. Prior knowledge of distilled spirits is preferred.

EXTERNAL QUALIFICATIONS - DEGREE , CERTIFICATION, ADDITIONAL TRAINING

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings
• Proficient with public speaking, diction, and English grammar
• Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• High school degree; Associate or higher studies of marketing or hospitality a plus
• Able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Able to stand, walk, climb stairs, squat and bend as this position requires a combination of mobility throughout the shift. Able to stand for a long period of time.
• Basic daily light housekeeping duties will be a team effort. All Distillery Guardians will comply with state and county health departments guidelines for continual maintenance of a sanitary work area including customer facing areas, storage area, serving areas, and frequent courtesy checks in the lavatories to ensure a presentable clean environment.
