Qualifications

• 15 years of software engineering experience with 7+ years in engineering management.
• Expertise in cloud-native architecture and large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong system design, automation, and performance optimization capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, service meshes, and distributed tracing.
• Hands-on Docker experience and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability platforms like Grafana and Splunk.
• Solid understanding of database reliability engineering and networking.

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director, Payments SRE to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This is a senior technology leadership opportunity focused on building and scaling site reliability engineering practices that support mission-critical payments operations. The role will shape reliability strategy, incident management, and operational excellence across multiple business areas. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders to strengthen resilience, continuity, and long-term capability in a highly regulated environment.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $210,000 – $249,500 annually

Responsibilities
