Position Overview

The Senior Director of Client Services is responsible for business development, budgets & contracts, and study startup from early lead through First Patient First Visit (FPFV). This role ensures the growth and diversification of our study portfolio, oversees study initiation, and collaborates with leadership on strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain industry knowledge and client relationships.
  • Drive company growth through strategic Clinical Trial Agreements.
  • Support study portfolio development tailored to each site’s capabilities.
  • Oversee study startup processes ensuring timely and coordinated initiation.
  • Monitor study performance and assist in risk mitigation.
  • Align business development with company strategy.
  • Lead clinic growth initiatives and support recruitment success.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage team hiring, training, performance evaluation, and overall department coordination, in accordance with organizational policies and laws.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Deep knowledge of clinical research and drug development processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Relationship management with sponsors, CROs, and internal teams.
  • High integrity and professional conduct.
  • Experience in marketing and sales principles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proactive with a strong drive and initiative.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years in clinical research, including business development, study startup, or project management.
  • Management experience required.
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting at a desk, working on a computer, moving, standing, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
