• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience managing and developing a sizable accounting team.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end close in a multi-entity organization.
• Experience working in a multinational corporate environment preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.
• M&A accounting and post-acquisition integration experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 10-15 accounting professionals supporting North American operations.
• Oversee the day-to-day corporate accounting function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
• Provide leadership over the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure appropriate accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes are established and consistently followed.
• Oversee consolidation and reporting activities for North American entities into the broader international organization.
• Review complex accounting matters and provide guidance on appropriate accounting treatment under U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the accounting organization, including process standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
• Support integration of newly acquired businesses, including accounting processes, systems, controls, reporting, and financial close integration.
• Help optimize and enhance the company's ERP environment, with particular emphasis on SAP S/4HANA.
• Support internal and external audit activities and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company requirements.

Reporting to senior finance leadership, this individual will oversee a midsized team and have responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of North American financial reporting and accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in corporate accounting and financial reporting, demonstrated leadership experience, and the ability to operate effectively within a complex multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing a sizable accounting team.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting foundation.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes in a complex, multi-entity organization.
• Experience working within a multinational or international corporate environment preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA experience strongly preferred.
• M&A accounting and post-acquisition integration experience strongly preferred.
