Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the consolidated month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Review consolidated financial results, account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide oversight and guidance to accounting teams responsible for the close process across various entities and business units.
• Review intercompany transactions, eliminations, consolidations, and other complex accounting activities.
• Identify close-related issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
• Review technical accounting analyses and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.

The Director of Accounting will oversee the company's consolidated accounting close process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the organization. This is primarily a review-level leadership position, responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and quality control across the close process rather than performing day-to-day transactional accounting.

Day-to-Day

• Lead and oversee the consolidated month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established deadlines.
• Review consolidated financial results, account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide oversight and guidance to accounting teams responsible for the close process across various entities and business units.
• Review intercompany transactions, eliminations, consolidations, and other complex accounting activities.
• Identify close-related issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
• Review technical accounting analyses and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies.
