Lumentum is looking for a dynamic Sr. Director, HR Business Partner to provide HR strategic partnership for executive leaders in Lumentum’s Cloud and Networking business. In this role, you will report to the CHRO and have one HR Business Partners direct report.

The US HR Business Partner Leader will influence business outcomes through leading HR initiatives in San Jose and globally for fast growing Cloud and Networking business. You will focus on building organizational strategies and talent plans, driving organizational design, change management, and building trusted relationships across all levels at Lumentum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES :

  • In partnership with business leaders, develop and implement talent strategies that ensures the organization has the right talent to deliver on business growth
  • Work across a global matrixed HR team to drive a unified and engaging approach to HR programs and processacross the Cloud and Networking Business
  • Bring thought leadership to change management, employee experience, and diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives
  • Implement key talent and learning initiatives within the business to deliver on talent strategy
  • Build a future bench and upscale capabilities through the development of top talent and strategic hires
  • Drive overall quality and delivery of all HR services and programs within the business (e.g. performance, management, compensation, employee relations, leadership development)
  • Establish, build and maintain strong relationships with HR Centers of Excellence to ensure all elements of HR are successfully coordinated to meet and exceed business and site needs
  • Develop and engage your HR team member (s)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use it to influence decision-making
  • Organizational design, workforce strategy and planning efforts to scale and grow and organization
  • Experience in building leaders and manager capabilities
  • The agility to flex between developing strategy and immersing yourself in the details to drive execution

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 plus years of relevant experience leading HR initiatives and programs
  • 3 plus year in a senior leadership role
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Communication or a related discipline
  • Experience partnering with C-suite executives
  • Experience supporting technology organizations
  • Experience working in a matrix HR environment and partnering with international teams

Pay Range:

P95-USA-1 :$178,500.00 - $255,000.00
