Lumentum is seeking a dynamic Sr. Director, HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR partnership for executive leaders in our Cloud and Networking division. Reporting to the CHRO, you will have one direct report of an HR Business Partner.

The US HR Business Partner Leader will influence business outcomes by leading HR initiatives in San Jose and globally for our rapidly growing Cloud and Networking business. Your focus will be on developing organizational strategies, talent planning, organizational design, change management, and building trusted relationships across all levels of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Partner with business leaders to develop and implement talent strategies supporting organizational growth.
  2. Collaborate with a global HR team to unify HR programs and processes across the Cloud and Networking business.
  3. Lead thought initiatives in change management, employee experience, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
  4. Implement talent and learning initiatives to fulfill strategic objectives.
  5. Build a strong talent pipeline through development and strategic hiring.
  6. Oversee the quality and delivery of HR services, including performance management, compensation, employee relations, and leadership development.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with HR Centers of Excellence to coordinate HR efforts effectively.
  8. Develop and mentor your HR team members.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with data interpretation and decision-making capabilities.
  • Expertise in organizational design, workforce strategy, and planning.
  • Experience in developing leader and manager capabilities.
  • Flexibility to switch between strategic planning and detailed execution.
Minimum Requirements
  • Over 10 years of relevant HR leadership experience.
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Communication, or related fields.
  • Experience working with C-suite executives.
  • Experience supporting technology organizations.
  • Experience in a matrix and international HR environment.
