Job summary

DePuy Synthes is seeking a Sr. Director, Global Benefits COE – Orthopedics to lead the design, governance, and execution of enterprise-wide employee benefits programs.

You will shape a competitive, compliant, employee-centric strategy across global markets to attract, retain, and well‑being improvement, aligning with financial goals. You will partner with HR, Finance, Legal, and executives to drive standards, vendor management, and analytics, while guiding a high‑performing global team through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• 12+ years in global benefits, total rewards, or HR leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in retirement, health & welfare, and global well-being programs.
• Experience leading global benefits strategy in a matrixed environment.
• Strong knowledge of global benefits regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global benefits strategy aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Oversee design of health, retirement, risk, wellbeing, and leave programs globally.
• Establish governance frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Partner with executives to align benefits with workforce needs.
• Lead vendor strategy and analytics benchmarking for cost and competitiveness.
• Build and lead a high-performing global benefits team.
• Drive M&A benefits integration and post-close transitions.
• Communicate benefits programs clearly and drive user adoption.
• Identify innovative solutions to simplify processes and reduce cost.
