DePuy Synthes seeks a Sr. Director, Global Benefits COE – Orthopedics, to lead the design and governance of employee benefits across the organization. You will shape a competitive, compliant global strategy to attract, retain and engage talent worldwide.

This role partners with executive leadership to balance global consistency with local market needs, driving cost efficiency and employee well‑being while guiding a high‑performing global team through M&A and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 12+ years in global benefits, total rewards, or HR leadership.
• Deep expertise in retirement, health, welfare, and global well-being.
• Experience leading global benefits strategy in a matrix organization.
• Strong knowledge of global benefits regulations and risk management.
• Executive stakeholder management in a matrix, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global benefits strategy aligned to enterprise and Total Rewards priorities.
• Oversee design of health, retirement, risk, wellbeing, leave, and ancillary programs globally.
• Establish standards, governance, and policies with regulatory compliance.
• Partner with senior leaders to align benefits with workforce needs.
• Lead vendor strategy and performance management for benefits providers.
• Leverage analytics and benchmarking to improve competitiveness and cost efficiency.
• Develop and engage a high-performing global benefits team.
• Lead M&A benefits integration and due diligence activities.
• Drive communications to ensure programs are understood and valued.
• Identify innovative solutions to simplify processes and cost-effectiveness.
