Description

As the Offline Sr. Creative Development & Scale Manager, you are passionate about the retail experience. You create the content strategy for how new products like Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and Kindle come to life offline. Working in a cross-functional team environment, you are regarded as the expert for Amazon offline across the voice assistant and smart home categories. You understand the retail landscape, demo and fixture technologies, and translate creative direction into our technology framework. This position plays a pivotal role in gathering requirements for all asset needs across channels and devising efficient strategies for content launch at scale for demo devices, digital screens, and detail page experiences.

Additionally, you oversee end-to-end content creation and upload for Amazon's retail store and demo experiences, blending project management with content strategy and creative vision. Your goal is to create innovative, impactful content that enhances the offline experience, making it recognizable and aligned with Amazon's brand voice. You develop strategies and playbooks to streamline processes for global offline teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead offline content strategy for Amazon devices, aligning with brand objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, management, and design to set messaging priorities.
  • Manage project commitments, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and ensure accountability.
  • Oversee production of print, digital, and video assets tailored to Amazon devices.
  • Develop offline communication themes and comprehensive playbooks for consistent messaging.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging content technologies.
  • Implement scalable content creation and distribution processes.
  • Champion the offline playbook, adjusting with design collaboration to simplify scaling.
  • Guide design and copy teams or agencies to tell compelling stories across devices and categories.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, and balance customer needs with operational constraints.
  • Manage budgets for content and design spend.
  • Proven track record of ownership and results delivery.

You must be responsive, detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of handling ambiguity. You should excel in understanding new concepts, creating user stories, and working across strategies and nuances. Thinking like the customer and obsessing over small details without sacrificing speed is essential. You should have a backbone to voice customer perspectives and influence reviews.

About The Team

The Amazon Offline Device Sales & Marketing (OSM) team expands Amazon Devices' distribution via partnerships with North American offline retailers. This highly collaborative role spans multiple categories and channels, creating strategies to reach diverse customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience using data to drive improvements
  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware launches
