Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Collections Representative to manage third-party AR, analyze denied claims, and contact insurers. This role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST and offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly pay.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in explanations of benefits, HIPAA compliance, and working with payors to resolve issues while maintaining production and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work between the hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM CST

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing Third - Party AR by analyzing denied and un-responded claims
• Outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile/resolve any issues
• Familiar with explanation of benefits
• Always Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards
• Meet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining work list according to metrics
• Meet or exceed daily quality standards
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned
• Process insurance/patient refunds and adjustments
• Evaluate and respond to all emails request for any AR issues to resolve in a timely matter
• Researching Payors and informing of any updates to medical policies/bulletins
• Review billing requirements, and analysis of denial trends with payors, etc. denial trends with payors, etc.

Sr. Collections Representative - Monday to Friday, Between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMCentral

Pay range: $21+ per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
