The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Sr. Project Leader – Cloud Computing Architecture to support NRO hosting services. This on-site role in Chantilly, VA focuses on requirements analysis, onboard hosting solutions, cost estimates, and data analysis.

Candidates must have extensive cloud infra experience and relevant security clearance. Key responsibilities include leading technical assessments, delivering objective reviews, and coordinating across matrixed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with hosting hardware: NAS, SAN, S3/Object, Tape storage, GPUs, commodity servers, networking architectures.
• Experience providing engineering solutions, analyses, and market research for hosting environments.
• Experience with cloud infra: virtualization (VMware), AWS/Azure, Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with space and ground processing systems and mission ground stations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to travel ~10%.
• U.S. citizenship and clearance (TS/SSBI/SCI) and polygraph.

Responsabilités

• Perform and lead assessments of compute and storage onboarding solutions.
• Analyze hosting environments and present engineering recommendations.
• Analyze ground system dependencies for hosting options.
• Investigate urgent technical problems and brief stakeholders.
• Review HSG architecture and engineering documents for improvements.
• Collaborate across directorates to ensure clean interfaces.
• Lead aerospace engineering staff on projects and studies.
