The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Sr. Project Leader – Cloud Computing Architecture to lead hosting and cloud infrastructure efforts for NRO hosting services.

On-site in Chantilly, VA, you will drive requirements analysis, hosting solutions, cost estimates, and data-driven recommendations across complex space systems. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s in a technical field and 12+ years of relevant experience, with hands-on cloud/virtualization and storage technology expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, or a related technical field
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with hosting environment hardware technologies
• Direct experience in engineering solutions, technical analysis and impact assessments
• Experience with cloud infrastructure technologies (virtualization, commercial clouds, containers)
• Experience with space/ground processing systems and mission ground stations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel ~10% (domestic and international)
• U.S. citizenship with active TS/SSBI/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one

Responsabilités

• Lead technical assessments of compute/storage onboarding solutions and gap analysis
• Perform data analyses of hosting environments and provide Engineering assessments
• Analyze ground system dependencies to evaluate hosting options
• Prepare briefings/reports and present findings to stakeholders
• Deliver independent reviews of HSG architecture and system engineering documents
• Collaborate across directorates to ensure clean interfaces
• Lead Aerospace engineering staff and project teams on assigned projects
• Represent customer/management positions in forums and reviews
